Certified by an external laboratory Industrial Microbiological Service LTD (IMLS), the surface of the Finsa melamine inhibits the growth or proliferation of bacteria and prevents their reproduction so bacteria age and die. The antibacterial effect is maintained during the useful life of the product. While not a substitute for regular cleaning, this does contribute to cleaner spaces, improve the quality of the indoor environment and prevents the development of infectious diseases.
FINSA has been a pioneer in the manufacture of particleboard since 1931, starting at a sawmill in Portanxil (Ames). A few years later, in 1937, Manuel García Cambón gave legal form to the project, which, in 1946, would be named FINANCIAL MADERERA S.A. As they continue to grow, they have always kept in mind the sustainability of their business and raw material. This attitude has earned FINSA the respect of major market players and of the communities where it develops its work.

SANIGUARD® silver ion based antibacterial finish has the power to suppress the growth of bacteria, fungi, yeast, algae, mold, and mildew on the surface of the hardware. The simple and clean shape also make disinfecting these handles and knobs easier and more effective. SANIGUARD® does not actually kill bacteria, but it does inhibit the growth of the bacteria so remember to use proper hygiene and cleaning procedures.
Silver ions will:
Suffocate the microbe: silver ions inhibit membrane transport processes.
Starve the microbe: silver ions interrupt cell metabolism.
Sterilize the microbe: silver ions prevent cell multiplication.
